One of the best things about gaming (aside from the games themselves, of course) is the sense of community. And Google is fostering that sense of community by letting you share Google Stadia games with your family.
Google Adds Stadia Games to Family Sharing
If you subscribe to Google’s in-house gaming service, Stadia, you will be pleased to know that you can now share your games with your family. Google’s Stadia Help support pages have been updated to explain how you go about sharing your games.
This is great news as it means that any game you have bought via Google Stadia, or that you have claimed using your Stadia Pro account, can be quickly and easily shared with other family members. The process is really simple, too.
How to Share Google Stadia Games With Family
First, you will need to ensure you have a Google account. Which, given that you want to share your Stadia games with others, is highly likely.
Then you just need to create a family group and add family members to it. That way, anyone affiliated with the Google family account can have access to all of the games you have available.
You can see how to create a family group on the Google Play Help support pages.
If you’re a Stadia Pro subscriber, the news is even better. You know those free games you get every month? Well, each member of your Google family group will get access to those as well.
Note that it isn’t a requirement to be a Stadia Pro subscriber in order to share Stadia games. Only that if you share titles claimed through Stadia Pro and then unsubscribe, those games will disappear from the shared list.
All you need to do is ensure that your family members are also signed up to Google Stadia. So, if your daughter, for example, would like to play Stadia games, she can. She just needs a Google Stadia account and you can then share your games with her.
This is a particularly good way of making sure you know what younger kids are playing and that they are safe online. You can share games with them that you know contain no violence, for example.
This way your kids can enjoy a fun, wholesome gaming experience until they are mature enough to be able to deal with the issues that are sometimes presented in video games.

Now that you know how to do it, there is nothing stopping you from sharing the best games that Stadia has to offer with your family. This means that you, and, by extension your family too, has access to around 120 games (at the time of writing), inclusive of ultimate editions and the like.
